When I moved here the first thing that I asked about was BBQ.. In Syracuse there is the best BBQ that I have ever had from the Dinosaur BBQ, so I missed home and was in search of a substitute...

Well Al and Irene's BBQ in Cedar Rapids is no substitute for the Dinosaur b/c--- it is its own class of BBQ. Al makes everything from scratch. Every thing.. There are no canned anything in his pantry. All his beans a dried and soaked, all his sauces are made from scratch, all his French fries are fresh cut.

If you are ever in the Cedar Rapids area and have a hankering for BBQ the juke box in Al and Irene's can't be beat.
