»In almost every picture« shows images taken with a camera that detects motion. Deers and other small animals in nature unwillingly take self portraits. Images collected and edited by Erik Kessels.
»Daimlerstraße 38«. The fox photos are the result of a pseudo-scientific research project about biology and geography in an industrial waste land. Tue Greenfort collected garbage to construct the photo trap for observing the foxes he discovered in that area. The animals were lured by a sausage. When the fox bit into the bait, it activated the camera connected by a cord to the sausage. One week later, the animals had learned to eat the sausage without being photographed.
»Water Cooler« uses frozen fruit juice to cool water brought up from the point in Witte de With’s cellar where it enters the building. The intervention into the functional architecture of the institution takes Tue Greenfort’s exhibition beyond the gallery space, integrating his work into the building’s infrastruce.

»Keep on Smoking«. As an alternative to petrol, this custom-made bicycle transforms kinetic energy produced by the cyclist into smoke. Video.
»Shared Propulsion Car«. In this project, all superfluous devices were removed from an 86’ Buick Regal (such as the motor, suspension, transmission and electrical system) thereby reducing the weight of the vehicle whilst preserving its appearance. It was then equipped with 4 independent pedal and gear mechanisms that make it possible for passengers to form a self-propulsion group. The »Shared Propulsion Car« makes it possible for the passengers to drive on public roads with the goal of blocking traffic.
»Réparations«. This work is an initiative in the course of which used plastic bottles found by chance on the street are recuperated and transformed into rockets. The ballistic launching device is made up of a bicycle pump used to compress a mixture of water and air in the recuperated bottle. Through the incessant up-and-down movement of the pump, the internal pressure reaches its peak, which results in a loud explosion and the release of the bottle’s compressed contents. In this way, the bottle is transformed into a veritable rocket and shoots skyward. In walking through the city, bottles that had been abandoned in the streets were successively fired into the Paris sky. All projects by Michel de Broin.

»Temporary Discomfort« documents Davos, Genoa, New York and Evian/Geneva in a transitory state of emergency lock-down during the global economic summits. It combines different photographical genres: landscape photography, photojournalism and police photography, though here with the camera lens turned back at the security forces.
»We will never be so close again« shows portraits of people waiting in their cars at traffic lights in New York, Zurich and Paris. Both projects by Jules Spinatsch.
The »Media Pack Board« by Valerie LeBlanc and Daniel Dugas is used for interactive performances and public screenings.
“Divine methods/Hidden motives” – On a wall in the Kloosterkerk in Den Haag, an industrial robot-arm is mounted. The robot is holding a lit candle, moving it through the space with calculated precision. Video.

»Forced to Speak with Others« by David Shrigley. LP limited edition of 500 vinyl copies. 14 tracks of spoken word stories and mutterings on subjects as diverse as Satan’s apocalyptic rock concert, giant hairy children, ludicrously clumsy fathers and an insect that desires to lay eggs inside someone’s brain.
