Erased Pictures from Flash Art Nr.259“, 2008 by Maria Anwander. The information from the erased pictures from an art magazine (Flash Art Nr. 259) is saved in the crumbs of the eraser. Each picture is packed in a plastic bag numbered with the page belonging to it. The viewer just can imagine by reading the text what the pictures were shown before.

Video “Rapidmemory” by Henny van Nistelrooy. The video shows a complete representation of the artists old bedroom in scale. Again completely made with memory as a guide. Sometimes very accurate and sometimes less precise.

“Dance-floor memories” turning object, mixed media, 4 m diameter. On the basis of memories Nina Fischer and Maroan el Sani reconstructed the dance floor of a former youth venue of the Palast der Republik, Berlin Mitte. This reconstruction preceded a number of interviews with previous visitors of this youth club whose memories were all different.

Portraits of Francis Bacon, Romy Schneider and Jonny Depp; part of the series “Phantom 00″ by Sonja Feldmeier. “Phantom 00″ resulted from the collaboration of various people of different age, different background, cultural and social affiliation. Looked for were fans which, from their imagination, described the face of their idol. As original material served a digital photo archives which the Criminal Investigation Department uses to produce composite sketches.
