»One Minute Communication – 3D« (2004) by Daniel Jackson. The sculpture consists of two aluminium spheres suspended in a glass and white enamelled steel cabinet. The spheres are in conversation. An artificial-life program controls the conversation which is relayed through the movement of the 2 spheres. The AI nature of the software dictates that the conversation will never be repeated – the gesture speed, the positioning and the length of movement are all determined by a combination of randomness and probability.
»Grey Area« (12 Atttempts to hide in an office environment) from 2001, »Fuck It Up and Start Again« (One guitar smashed and mended 7 times) from 2001 and »Individual Features Removed« from 2004 by Sofia Hultén.
»Events With Unknown Outcome« shows various objects (beer crates, a blanket, ball and plastic bag) in the park surrounding the last border watchtower still standing since the GDR in Berlin. Sofia Hultén secretly videotaped whatever happened to the objects from the vantage point of the tower.
»Ball Machine.« Tennis balls bounce of the walls and make a trajectory that leads back into the ball machine. By Patrick Martinez.
»28 Years In The Implicate Order« a video by Pascual Sisto. 28 red balls bounce up and down in a chaotic random order. As the video reaches its mid point, the balls align themselves until they reach the point where they all bounce at the same precise moment and then resume to go back into chaos.
