They are posing at upscale private swimming pools and reflect on their ideas of beauty, ways to obtain it and it’s relationship with privilege. The video is punctuated by the women taking self-portraits with a polaroid camera.

Public Sculpture)«, 2002 originates spontaneously in urban environments: on streets, in courtyards, next to apartment towers, by garden fences, in apartment-block communities and neighborhoods. It originates as the result of the exchange and gift economies of the local population and is linked to the micro-economy and micro-ecology of relationships. It directly reflects economic wealth/poverty, personal taste, and creativity. PPS is a temporary form. It changes constantly through unloading, shifting, adding, removing, and so on. »The Danville Community Encyclopedia« is an audio/visual encyclopedia containing knowledge of Danville, Illinois residents. The content was generated through inviting people to share their knowledge with the artist, and recording their conversations. The word-for-word transcriptions of their contributions of knowledge on a wide variety of topics is what forms the text of the encyclopedia. In addition, many participants chose to create drawings to go with their entry. A hardbound copy along with a listening station, is permanently installed in the Danville Public Library.
