The “Wind Array Cascade Machine – WACM” (2003), by Steve Heimbecker, is a 64 channel kinetic wind mapping and network diffusion system. The data generated, can be recorded and archived. The WACM series of installations are: “POD” (2003), “Signe” (2005), “Paravent” (2006), and the “Turbulence Sound Matrix” (2007).
"Public Sculptures", 2008, are little sculptures whose primary material is made up of found and gathered rubbish from the streets, arranged into new indefinable, abstract forms. These Forms, made of everyday life rubbish, are each cast two times in ceramics. These two identical sculptures become gold plated in pure gold. One of these sculptures will be left in a public space. It is placed on an arbitrary location, observed and secretly filmed till the moment when taken. What stays is the identical copy of the disappeared sculpture and a Video showing the Moment of disappearance from its equivalent.

»Pianorama«, 2005. An old fashioned upright piano sits in the middle of the space. There are two small loudspeakers on top of it. A mechanical device (which plays the piano), sits on top of the keys. Out of one loudspeaker comes Janet’s voice and out of the other comes George’s. These voices are discussing what type of music might be appropriate for what seems to be a film they are planning. “Audio Monitors” by Simon Blackmore. Resembling speakers, each monitor the sound levels in the space. When the the sound level is low led counters start to count up in seconds, displaying the amount of quite time in the space.
