    Really nice hotel thats in a very convenient location! Caught it for a decent rate for the area @ $200 a nite on Hotels.com.
    Rooms were a nice size as me and my buddy had more than enough room to move around in the small amount of time we were actually in the room.
    Very good bar on the 2nd floor that serves a pretty good breakfast. When we got there I guess breakfast was ending, but the F&B Director had them serve us anyway...awesome!
    If you want to use their computers near the check-in desk they charge a fee, but printing out boarding passes are free. Wi-fi is free and works pretty good
    Good hotel to stay in, if you like being steps away from Chinatown, SOHO and Greenwich Village.

    Solid hotel with an excellent location and very friendly staff. You're in the middle of Chinatown and Little Italy here so no excuse for not finding some excellent places to eat. It's also a short walk to Greenwich if you're here on business and are close to the Canal St. subway stations.

    The rooms are nothing special but are clean and the bed/pillows are quite comfortable. The rooms are small but it's NY and they're big enough since its not like you're here to chill in the room all day. Also, turn the window unit AC down before you go to bed since that thing is strong.

    The breakfast is pretty good for free but not worth the $19 or so if you don't get it free. It has the usual pancakes/French toast, potatoes, muffins, sausage, eggs, bacon, fruit etc. along with some odd substance known as cream of wheat, which is apparently the northern version of grits. They are really friendly for breakfast and always offered me a to go cup for my coffee.

    The staff here is very friendly so if you need a restaurant recommendation or directions to anywhere in NYC via subway don't hesitate to ask.

    I'd stay here again for sure if I could get a decent rate.

    I'd rank this lower simply because I have little context to what rooms in NY should cost and what you get for what you pay.

    I'm accustomed to West Coast living in California or even Las Vegas, NV where $350 per night gives you a palatial room fit for semi-royalty.  Here in NY, $350/night (mid-June 2014) gave me what resembled a motel type room, small, functional "a place to sleep" and nothing much else.  A window unit air conditioner / heater, a bed, a dresser, a small desk, a TV, with a small area for clothes, and a bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo and a toilet with a sink.  

    It's really "no frills" - - but, again, I'm not sure if that's the standard or not in NY.

    It was a decent location, felt safe, was convenient.  I'm not sure if I'd venture out too far at night, but that's more in fear of getting lost than jumped.  

    Adjacent to this and walkable is Greenwich Village, near SoHo as well as Little Italy and Chinatown, so you can find stuff locally, and the streetcar/subway station is close by too.

    I'd recommend this as a place to stay if it's the best price you can find and a close / convenient option to where you need to or want to be.

    The room fee included free internet wifi, free access to check in your airline and print your boarding pass, as well as a free breakfast buffet which offered up bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, cereal, danishes, muffins, pastries,  toast, juices and other standard food fare.

    I think this room is worth more like $75-150 max from the West Coast perspective and context.

    It's far from a place you'd take a date, have a honeymoon or anything that's "dressed to impress" or attempting at "romantic ambiance" - - it's truly a commuter hotel for the function of safe sleeping.

    The service here was friendly and accommodating.

    Again, the ranking suffers mainly due to the relationship between the rate and what you get for that rate in my opinion.

    I've stayed here quite often over the years. If you are visiting SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy or NYU and don't want to cab it, this is your best option.

    The staff are a mixed bad, some good and some not so sharp. The rooms also vary a lot. I got lucky this time and got a recently renovated room thats not too tiny on a high floor. Remember, this is NYC, most hotels are tiny, old and nasty and way expensive.

    I've paid over $500 a night to stay here when the city is low on lodging. Normally it is half this rate.

    Bring Ambien. Fairly clean. Good service. Way overpriced. 24-7 noise outside every room window of garbage trucks and misc crap outside your window, so no earplugs = no sleep. No central air, noisy ass A/C unit in your overpriced room. No fresh air can't open a window (do you really want to do that in NYC anyway and smell more trash?) Decent food. Won't stay here again. People must be used to crap hotels in NY to be recommending this place - funny.

    The room was tiny and it smelled weird.  The shower made crazy vibrations and make crazy noises when the water is set to a certain tempurature, the extended check-out was only an extra hour, and our keys kept on getting either deactivated or activated incorrectly.  Overall, it wasn't great, but at least it's a place to stay with AC and runnign water.

    Before I begin my review for my most recent stay at this hotel, a 10-day in late December 2013, I want to tell you in advance that I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past four years, and my number of stays across the afore-mentioned time period likely totals at least 30 stays, for a total of at least 142 days (i.e., over 4 months). For all of my stays, I have always given this hotel 5 stars, as I have done again in this review today.

    This hotel remains my favorite hotel in NYC, and whenever I have clients located in lower Manhattan, I always book at this hotel; I do not even consider other hotel options in lower Manhattan. Finally, if you want even more details about this hotel, please feel free to check out my earlier reviews of this hotel at this site.

    Even though I have spent a tremendous amount of time at this hotel over the past 4 years, I have always been very satisifed with each of my stays, and I have never had any significant bad experiences during any of my stays.

    I kinda smile inwardly, and I sometimes groan inwardly, when I see reviewers on this site complain about certain things regarding this hotel, such as the size of the rooms, the size of the bathrooms, or the price for a night's stay at this hotel, or about the city noise from the streets that can sometimes be heard in rooms, for it is painfully obvious that they are "newbies" to Manhattan, and that they have never stayed in a hotel in Manhattan before. Anyone who has stayed at several other Manhattan hotels in the under-$650 per night price range knows, and appreciates, that the size of the rooms and bathrooms at this hotel are very generous by Manhattan hotel standards, and that the price for a nights stay here is very inexpensive by Manhattan hotel standards. There is simply no arguing any of these points.

    I have always been particularly impressed with the very good level of guest service and attention here from the staffers in all of the departments, including Housekeeping and its very conscientious and helpful director, Kim Lee Meyer, and the front desk staff, and also the doormen/bellmen.

    I also want to mention that I have noticed across my many stays here that two particular front desk staffers (and these are the two with whom I have had the most interactions) stand out in my mind as being consistently extraordinarly friendly, helpful, attentive, aware, responsible and responsive/accountable, and they are Lisa (who is apparently also a night auditor) and Ivonne. In my mind, they are both incredible assets to this property!

    In closing, I wish to reiterate that whenever I need to stay in lower Manhattan, this is my only hotel choice!

    I am a IHG rewards member so I love the brand. This is the only holiday in I have stayed at that I was disgusted with. The staff were crappy and when I got to my room there was beer cans in the corner and vomit in the carpet. No wonder I could not check in early! its because they had to clean up vomit. They would not refund me and my free upgrade of the room turned in to a new room looking dead on at the water tower. If I could open the window I could go and bang on it. Don't even think of staying here

    We like this location because of it's access to a few subway stops that get us to where we typically go.  The hotel is clean and typically quiet.  We were there during a 100 degree heatwave and the room A/C was a life-saver.  It worked almost too well and had the room chilly in just a short time.

    We had one small issue that didn't end up affecting us.  We got back from being out around 1130pm.  There was NO water.  We called the front desk and they knew of the issue and said it should be up 'sometime in the morning'.  We were ready to freak out but decided to get some rest.  the water was back on by 630am, so no harm, no foul.  We have had other water related issues here but those were settled and we were happy with the outcome...but it does have me worried about some of the infrastructure here.    Staff is friendly, and it is a decent value for NYC.....

    Very pleasant stay using points for a three night stay, Thursday thru Sunday. Staff was nice at checkin and also the guys downstairs were helpful with directions for the subway and which train to take to certain areas. I didn't use housekeeping and also checked out late on my final day--which they were very accommodating with. Room is small like others in NY but adequate and comfortable. I would stay here again.

    This hotel is fine. My parents stayed there when they visited New York in 2005, I think, and they didn't have any problems with it. More recently I was there for a presentation of.. art? products? I don't know, by Cory Arcangel. Renting out a conference room on the second floor, the event was billed as a presentation of "surfwear," clothes to wear when surfing, not the waves but the internet--pretty standard T-shirts. But there were other things there as well, sheet music related to conceptual performance projects, some electrici tiki décor, like plastic glowing palm trees and icicle lights, a DVD tower full of shitty 90s comedies (Happy Gilmore etc.), a stack of books about contemporary art and how it's shown.. not to mention the DJ table, and the free donuts and coffee from Dunkin Donuts on a folding table and a mini-fridge, branded Coke, but stocked with Nice brand water from Duane Reade. Everything about it was aggressively average, low/middle brow--and I suppose the hope was that amassing all that in one palce (which is itself totally bland--a Holiday Inn conference room!) would eventually transcend it, concentrate it, make it special, but that's not what happened. It was just boring, textureless. Maybe the artist wanted to bore everyone.. certainly the grossly too-full-yet-undernourished feeling one gets after eating two Dunkin Donuts donuts was a bodily feeling that matched the aesthetic impression... I Can't figure out if that's an artistic achievement or what. After a while I moseyed over to the bar, conveniently located just outside the conference room in the second floor lobby, because the event was dry and I needed a martini. The drink was good but the bartender was slow and kept disappearing for long breaks, so I was glad I was the first attendee of Cory's event who decided (around 3:30 pm) that it was time to drink. I was originally planning to give this three stars but now that I've written it out I realize that nothing says it better than "meh" so, two stars.

    They put me in an incorrect room (i.e. smoking room) and are incompetent in the basics of customer service. They are unable to address questions, properly handle cancellations, and will continually put you on hold. Hassan Elbardei their manager won't come to the phone either.

    My company will not be booking corporate travel with them again.

    My co-workers stay here just about every time we travel to NYC for work. The location is ideal considering we walk to Federal Plaza and it close to several subway stops. Within blocks if both Little Italy and Chinatown, which is great for meal selection.

    Have never had any major issues here.  The staff have ALWAYS assisted with my concerns as they arise and accommodated any need for a room change.  All the staff from the door men, wait staff, and management staff have always been friendly and even shared in some conversations with them.  Although there are some staff that are more empathetic then others, I have never had bad service.

    The breakfast buffet is a little pricey, but as a rewards member and government rate, I receive breakfast and beverage coupons and have never had a bad meal.

    Stayed there this past summer for one night with my teenage son in one room and my teenage daughter and three of her girlfriends in another. The rooms were perfect for their purpose. Clean, quiet and with comfortable beds. We even had a view of the city.

    The front desk staff was extremely pleasant, and granted me a late departure in light of the gaggle of teens I was trying to control.

    We did not spend much time at the hotel so I can not speak to the amenities such as room service and restaurant, but I did have a beer at the bar with a couple of mom's and that seemed fine.

    Will definitively go back there next time I am in need of staying in the area. It is located close to China Town and a few blocks south of Houston. It perfectly fit our needs without breaking the bank.

    I stayed one night at this hotel this past weekend while visiting my daughter. I wanted a hotel with a good value in a convenient location without spending $300.00 + per night.

    The location is perfect. Extremely close to Little Italy, Chinatown and the East Village. The staff was outstanding and extremely friendly. From the Reception area through housekkeping folks that crossed my path, all were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. No waiting at all.

    There are only two negative issues that I had that were negative. But with a suggestion to the front desk I know that these are comments are repairable. I was on the 14th floor which I recommend since on a high floor you are able to avoid the street noise. The only issue with this was that the elevators were extremely slow. I waited almost 10 minutes for the elevator when I checked in and never less than 5 minutes every other time that I used it. I normally would walk the stairs but being on the 14th floor that was not an easy task in high heels. My other issue was that the tile in the shower was a bit moldy in places. Nothing that a little blast of Tilex wouldn't help. Just one of those little things that sceeve many people.

    That being said I had an enjoyable stay.

    I've stayed here many times over the past few years and would definitely stay again. I'm always very impressed by how clean and comfortable the rooms are. A night stay here is pricey, but much less than many hotels in Manhattan.

    The customer service is good, but be aware that there is usually just one person manning the front desk, one person working the bar lounge, and one employee working as the door man so there's waiting time just like at any hotel.

    Room service is good too. They have an excellent burger and fries.

    This Holiday Inn is probably the nicest one I've ever stayed at, and definitely a great value for a hotel room in New York City. I've stayed in numerous NYC hotels and usually they are cramped, outdated, noisy, etc. The rooms here are larger than the average for Manhattan (I would almost say they're spacious!) and the location is right next to Soho and also very convenient to Brooklyn.

    Both times I stayed there the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. This latest time they put us in a room right in front of the elevators, but I never heard a peep other than normal city stuff (and was high enough not to hear much of that). I can't comment on the food or bar as I have never even thought to use them, with all the great options within walking distance. I'm sure I'll be back the next time I'm in town and need a hotel.

    Excellent hotel in SoHo!  The concierge was very helpful.  I had a job interview and I needed to go directly to the airport afterwords, the concierge let me leave my luggage at the hotel.  After my interview, the hotel sent a driver to pick me up at my job interview and had my luggage with him.  They then dropped me off at the airport.  Very awesome service!

    Also, the breakfast was a tag expensive ($~18) but was a buffet and had plenty of good food so I was very full.  Worth it in a time crunch.

    Once my favorite place to stay if I was business-trip shopping in China Town, the last 3 or 4 times have been disastrous. I won't go back. Something changed a few years ago and  regardless of PC loyalty status, rooms are tiny, AC unit, right next to your bed, is loud as a jet engine and the bathrooms are sketchy. There is absolutely no PC loyalty recognition, and the wheel you spin to "win free points!" at the front desk is a joke. I've never seen those points applied to my account. The location, if you're doing China town is great. The rooms are clean and cleaning staff and bell staff make up for a lot of the indifference at the front desk and below average rooms. But too pricey for what you get. Avoid it. Try The Indigo in in the jewelry district. They treat you like royalty.

    I have stayed at this location in the past and always loved how close it was to SoHo and the Village.  I was scheduled to stay here this weekend but Mother Nature had other plans.  My bus was cancelled due to a snowstorm and I had no other way to get to NYC for the weekend.  I had pre-paid for my room so when I called to cancel I had already accepted the fact that I was most likely out of luck in regards to any sort of refund.  However, I figured people may be stranded in NYC due to the storm and wanted to cancel the reservation so they could rebook the room for someone that could use it.  Even though I did not request a refund it was given to me right away!  I am so impressed with this and am already trying to figure out a make-up date for my trip and I will be staying here!

    We loved the location of this hotel however we were not overly impressed by the service. We were charged a $60 room upgrade fee because we did not make clear our preference for two beds rather than a king prior to arriving! The stair wells were full of trash all three days that we were there which had us nervous for a pest problem. This hotel has great potential but I would shop around before booking this one!

    This was a great find for me. I was attending a conference that was about 10 minutes away and booked this hotel. I liked it a lot. It is a very convenient location, particularly if you're a shopper. It was really nicely outfitted. After a very long day, it was a welcome respite. The only knocks I have are 1) they give you several smaller square pillows rather than 2 or 4 rectangular pillows. Bunched up, it was just enough room to hold my head. 2) It may have been just my room (317), but when I flushed the toilet, it ran very loudly for a solid 5-10 minutes.  You do hear some of the street noise but my thinking is a) ask for a room on a higher floor and b) that's New York. Not a big deal and they do have a heater/air conditioner window unit which really functions like a white noise machine. I would stay here again in a minute.

    If I could give them a zero, I would. On a recent stay, I woke up with one of my legs covered with bug bites. After making some inquiries, it was clear that I was bitten by a bed bug. I asked to be moved immediately, which they did accommodate. However, when I inquired about the results of the evaluation that they did on my room the next day, the registration attendant made a quick call to housekeeping, indicating that the evaluation was done and everything was fine. My bad for not asking to see the report at the time, which I will do.

    I strongly recommend that if you do choose to stay here, that you inspect your bed thoroughly for any evidence of bed bug infestation. Googling 'bed bug bites' will provide some excellent information on what to look for.

    I highly recommend this hotel for its great location. Yes, the rooms are a bit small but it's NYC so space is a premium. But the room was clean and cozy. Plus, if you like the person you're staying with it doesn't matter.
    We booked a room on one of the top floors and we had a great view. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast or bar because it's NY and there are plenty of options just outside the front door. There is a Starbucks 1 block away and the Landmark Diner for a very basic breakfasts.
    The hotel is literally located 2 blocks from the epi-center of Little Italy and Ferrari's Bakery (my favorite!) and it's also a quick walk to Chinatown.
    We walked everywhere: Ground Zero memorial was about 20 min. south as was the Brooklyn Bridge. And SOHO is just north, a few blocks
    Across the street is one of the many city bike rental depots.
    At the corner of Lafayette and Grand is Parigot, a charming French Restaurant which serves delicious food. It's personal and romantic.
    I don't know what the complaints about the subway is all about. Yes, you hear from the st. but I didn't hear anything from inside the hotel. Again, we were on the 14th floor
    And good price too. For 2 nights we paid $400

    The location of this place is wonderful.  This is close to many good eats in the Chinatown area as well as very close to the SOHO shopping district.  If you are interested in visiting the City Hall, lower Manhattan of NYU, this is also very convenient and short walk away.

    Receptionist was friendly and helpful.  Check-in was a breeze.  

    I visit the NYC hotels quite often and they rarely have rooms ready early if you do arrive early. If you arrive early, you can check in luggage on first floor and then go about the city till check-in time.  

    I have been to this hotel many many times.  They do take care of their elite club members as almost everytime I am here, I have gotten a good size room.  I stay on the club level floors and rooms are good size for NY standards.

    I have stayed on some of the other floors before as well.  Some of them can be tiny.  But you are staying in NYC.  This is the way of life in NYC for most people.

    This hotel is in a great location in Chinatown, one block from the subway.  Mulberry Street in Little Italy is also only a couple of blocks away.  The rooms were fairly standard for a Holiday Inn.  Most importantly, they were clean!  I think the rooms were probably an average size for New York City.  I also found the service to be good.  The concierge and front desk staff were helpful.  I would definitely stay here again.

    My husband and I stayed in this hotel on business.  We requested, and got, a high and quiet floor.  We got the 8th floor in the back, which was very quiet.

    The bellman was really nice and when we came back at check-in time, our bags arrived in about 3 minutes, beating all records!  Also, the shower was really good.

    However, during check-in, I asked to upgrade the room to a larger suite.  I was told that day 3 we could pack our bags, leave them in the room, and they would be transferred to the larger room.  We checked the morning of day 3 and the current clerk didn't know anything about the upgrade we were promised.    That wouldn't have been a big deal, but we were there for 5 nights and would have paid the differential if it meant a larger room, rather than trying for a free upgrade.  It was just annoying.

    The more annoying aspects were that the furniture was chipped and worn out and the toilet only decided to work intermittently.  The closet (open, with no door) had annoying hangers that do not remove from the rod, so getting my clothes on and off the hangers was a weird experience as well.  The wifi didn't work well at all.

    The price was good, but if I have a choice when traveling, I'll go back to a Marriott or a Hilton.

    I was a little nervous booking this trip through Priceline since it was the cheapest deal and the location was in the heart of Chinatown...not SoHo. But it was totally better than what I had expected! Here is why:

    Location: 3 subway stations are close by on Canal, yellow, green and brown lines. So nice since the green line shuts down early. It's also walking distance to SoHo and Lower Eastside.

    Customer Service: The front desk staff was very accommodating. Whenever I called or emailed they were very responsive. They allow early check in if the room is available, or will hold your bags until your rooms were ready. They also provide cab service to the airport for $49. I think standard rate is $50. Super convenient!

    Rooms: Our room was super small but everything was fresh and clean. We had 4 girls with 2 standard beds. Standard is just a slightly smaller twin bed. But we made it work and they were very comfortable. Like other yelpers have said, they offer great amenities such as razors and toothbrushes if you happen to forget them at home. Wish I saw this sign earlier before stopping by Duane Reade.

    Nothing close to a seedy motel. I would definitely stay here again!

    I stayed at the Inn for business recently and I had a really good experience. Its close to Little Italy, Chinatown, and the subways. There was a scare about bedbugs in NY but the Inn was really clean, well taken care of hotel.

    The standard room with a queen size bed is about 500 -600 sqft. Fortunately I didnt run into room charge issues like some of the other yelpers here. I don't recommend trying to squeeze in 6 people in these rooms. The bed was nice and comfortable. I had a perfect nice sleep with a warm thick comforter.

    The amenities include a small bar and lobby. There's a tiny gym at the bottom floor, but no one was ever there so you can probably get a machine without any problems. There's also a good size conference room for meetings.

    The staff was fantastic and the bellmen were very helpful. It was my first time in NY and the Holiday Inn made my stay quite comfortable.

    great rates and great location.  if you're looking for a clean, basic room just to sleep in then this is your spot.  there is no bar or lobby scene.  

    bell desk was extremely helpful with arranging car service.  I forgot my razor and housekeeping was prompt to deliver one to my room.

    My husband and I just spent the weekend at this hotel. Perfect if you r looking for reasonable rates and plan to be out and about most of the time. Our room was small but very clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. Amazing location. Down the block from broadway where there is great shopping and food venders. Down the block from little Italy . We stayed on the 11th floor in the back so there was no noise from the outside. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't for u. We just wanted a clean comfortable room that was located near the things we wanted to do and that it was. We will be back!

    I just spent two nights at this hotel located conveniently on the border of Soho and Tribeca just off of Canal street.  Two blocks from Little Italy, this Hotel, while clean, is right above the subway and even on the 8th floor, I could feel the subway passing by.  Now that maybe the norm in NY, but it took some getting used to.

    I'd pretty much agree with the other reviews.  

    My two cents to add would just be that we did try to squish 6 into a room (really stretching our buck) for two nights.  It was do-able with two sleeping on the floor.   Don't expect to fit an air matress (even a twin), there's just no room for it.  Two adult sized males took up the entire floorspace between and at the feet of the beds.

    Still, the room was otherwise comfortable, and well cleaned.  The neighborhood is more chinatown, but there's a subway stop down the block, and we didn't have any issues walking a few blocks to the bars in Soho one night.

    Not really comfortable at all, but it brought the price down to about $40/night per person, which was debatably worth it.  Probably would spend a tad more for something nicer if I were having to do it with anyone but a group of guys just caring about being out on the town.

    This was a great hotel. Not sure if they have updated it since some of the reviews I have read about this place, but I want to chime in and say that the room was much more than I expected.

    There are many pros to this hotel. First, the location. Taking the M60 from LGA  then the Astoria St. subway to the hotel was a breeze. There is a station connecting to 6 trains just steps from the entrance. Plus, it is within walking distance to the Lower East Site, East Village, SoHo, TriBeca, Chinatown, Downtown, the Village, NYU, etc... in other words, the location could not be beat!

    Second pro, the room. It was clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. The bed was soft and comfy and the flat screen tv was a nice touch. I was on the 6th floor and I could hear the rumble of subways, but it was drowned out when I turned on the window fan. The room is small, so don't try and sneak people in to sleep on the floor! They won't fit. But, the king bed was more than enough for the wife and I.

    Third pro, the staff. Everyone was nice and willing to help. The front desk overheard me talking with some people about the internet being down one morning and they offered to let me behind the counter to use a staff computer... I didn't need to, but what a great gesture! Also, the maids were great! If you leave them a little tip, they will clean your room extra nice and throw in some bottles of water!

    There is only one con I had, which prevented this hotel from getting 5 stars. The room fan didn't shoot out cold air. Even if it was cooler outside and I turned on the fan or A/C, it was still not very cool air. Therefore, I believed this to be an old A/C / fan that needs to be replaced. The room was a little warm for my liking, but not overly so where I couldn't sleep or where I asked for a room change. Other than that, the place could not be beat! I would absolutely stay here again.

    An average hotel that is more in Chinatown than SoHo. More complaints than praise. Bellhop was gone more than present so don't rely on them for help with directions. Also scammed us with a limo service to JFK rather than taxi that took credit cards. Ended up paying cash from an ATM. "forgot" to tell us at pickup. Computer service in lobby is unbelieveably slow and you pay by the minute.  If you must use, pay cash not credit card.  We called twice when computer froze and sure enough card was still being charged.  Finally, escalators never seemed to work.

    The room was really tiny.  The bed needed to be flipped since the middle was like falling into a pit.  

    We bid on this room through priceline.  Even at the discount, wasn't worth it.

    Scored a great deal on Priceline.com and was overjoyed with the location, cleanliness and service we received here.  It was the perfect place to relax and rest after a long day of apartment hunting. Thank you to Holiday Inn Downtown for a wonderful stay!

    If I could give this place a negative star I would. I was charged $200 for a "in room smoking fee" even though I am allergic to smoke and did nothing of the sort. When I asked if they had any evidence of smoking in the room, they could not provide anything concrete, only that the room smelt. It was also interesting that 4 other people (according to the hotel manager) had been charged the same fee the same weekend. It was even more disturbing that I was told by the general hotel manager that she was"able to refund the fee but chose not to" as I was "not a loyal customer of that hotel and I had booked through hotwire.com".

    Not to mention the charges were put on my card, AFTER I had checked out and already flown home. Do not trust this hotel, they will charge you for things you did not do and there is no recourse/
