    Salmonella Warning!!!

    Beware!!! Beware!!! Beware!!!

Served me a totally raw chicken tender. I bit into it and thankfully realized that it was completely raw and spit most of it out. I asked for manager (Wahida Uddin) and she acted like this is a totally normal occurance. Didnt seem suprised at all. Then she offered to (get this!!!) not charge me for the raw chicken that she served me. Wow! Thanks a lot!!! You guys are great!!! That makes up for everything!!!

Avoid unless you want salmonella poising and a trip to the emergency room!!!

So bad. The biscuits weren't even good.  I ordered the Shrimp and scallop linguini. How do they make this dish taste sour?! How is that even possible... What a disappointment. At least our waiter was nice. It's not his fault this restaurant has bad food.

Nothing exceptional and nothing horrible. It was a lunch time and we had a party of 2 so we were seated quickly. They have a decent lunch special so I got shrimp tacos with rice and a drink for about $11. The waiter was friendly and kept our biscuits coming but he was pushy with the dessert offerings, talk about hardcore upselling.

Three of us went for dinner April 25, 2014. The lobster bisque was way, way too salty. The cheddar bay bisquits were warm and delicious. The lobster macaroni was swamped with bread crumbs, dry and also salty. The wood grilled lobster tail with scallopps and shrimp was good, but the shrimp were incredibly tiny. The fried feast was good but just too much fried food. It was a Friday night so it was busy, still our waiter was a little on the slow side yet he seemed like he had time to chat with some of the other employees. Including two beers our check was $93. I think thats pretty high for a mediocre chain restaurant. I only went here because I received a gift card for the place. Honestly, there are a lot of better restaurants in this city (NYC) for seafood. I won't be going back to Red Lobster.

Me and my boyfriend came here to celebrate our two month anniversary. I forgot what we ordered but we both got seafood, it's pretty fair. I must say that the dessert is too sweet! I could only take two bites of the brownie and had to stop eating because it was outrageously sweet. This is definitely above regular western sweetness level.

We asked our waiter for drink recommendation and the alcohol flavor was also very strong. I'm not a lightweight and can handle my alcohol, but when the flavor is overpowering, it doesn't taste good anymore.

A bit crowded for the dinner menu but that's obvious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The courses kept coming one after the other without waiting but my scallops were cold by the time I got them. The lobster was amazing! Highly recommended for dinner dates. Prices were very convenient

Ok. So now it is time to review the local Red Lobster...

This location, has become a terrible place over the last few years, not that it was great to begin with.  The fare is pretty generic as it is from a Red Lobster, which is essentially the Mccdonalds of seafood chains with table service.  My girlfriends mother gives us a gift certificate for Red Lobster once a year so because the food is essentially free, I hit this place up once in a while.  The service here is also the same everytime: terrible. It's like the wait staff don't even want to be there. There was on occasion where a waitress literally told me "Hurry up and order so I can get my tip and go home."  Wow. I was floored and tried to match her ridiculous statement by informing the manager, who really didn't care, and leaving her a terrible tip.  I tipped her a dime (on my amex card) and gave the bus boy $10 cash.

This is really a bad location...

    What a gimmick!
I've been eating fresh Maine lobsters all my life therefore when I came here I naturally ordered a FRESH 2lb lobster for $53.00 (don't like the frozen stuff).  Anyways the lobster they served me was 1 1/4lb. As I mention earlier I've been buying lobsters from tanks all my life therefore I'm very very familiar with the difference in size. I should have let the waiter know this before I ordered the 2 pounder then maybe they wouldn't have pulled a fast one on me.  As I'm sure they pull this shit with other unsuspecting diners as well.  If you dine here and order lobster from the tank just be sure you let them know when you order that you know about the sizes.
Other than this waiter Ryan was attentive food was ok.  I'm giving one star b/c i was charged for a 2pounder and got a1 1/4 pounder.  I was going to say something but didn't bother to b/c I really don't think I'll be coming back. There are many better places to enjoy seafood like city island.

I'm not that fond of Red Lobster, I usually go when they have some sort of deals XP
BUT the Red Lobster here is nice, the staffs are all. I usually go to this one compared to the one in Manhattan. Manhattan's prices are a bit higher too and always packed but then it's Manhattan.

SO yeah the people here are nice , real friendly most of the time. Unless you're unlucky and end up with a not as nice one and/or one that's having a bad day ....(ehhh that sucks for you)

I've been having such a craving for seafood so since I was at the mall I decided to have lunch at Red Lobster. I decided on the Endless Shrimp special and my friend decided on the lobster and shrimp plate.

I started with the shrimp scampi and Parmesan crusted shrimp with a salad and broccoli. My shrimp didn't taste quite right, in fact it tasted watered down and over cooked and the parmesan crusted shrimp had no crust and the did was throw some cheese on the shrimp and melt it. My friend lobster tail was uncooked and her shrimp was over cooked.

The manager was nice enough to have the kitchen staff re-fire the lobster which came out much better the second time around. I tried the shrimp scampi again thinking maybe this time the shrimp would exactly have some flavor. WRONG they still tasted watered down with a hint of garlic.

I love Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits even those were tasteless and lack flavor.

The best part of the meal was the salad.

I hate chain restaurants. Always have, always will. When you live in a city that is known for it's culinary greatness, whether it be dirt cheap street food or posh fine dining, it's almost sacrilegious to frequent establishments such as these. But, my guy loves Red Lobster, and if I'm forced to have a meal at one of these types of places, this would be my choice as well. Don't judge me: you know the cheddar bay biscuits are delicious.

The quality of the food at this location has improved. Inevitably, whatever I'd ordered in the past came out of the kitchen overcooked and rubbery. I noticed that my scallops still had some bounce in their texture, and my lobster could actually be called "succulent" ... at least by a person who's never enjoyed the crustacean in any other setting. Regardless, progress is progress.

Sadly, the service is more lacking than ever. The hostess and servers are forgetful and sometimes rude albeit unintentionally. The seem miserable. And I don't blame them. If I had to work there, and serve the clientele that greet them on a daily basis, I'd be miserable too. Normally, I've noticed that the other diners seem generally unhappy as well. If the employees here are rude throughout the course of your meal, it's likely because the customers are abrasive from the jump off, often all day, everyday.

I'll be honest: I actually enjoyed my meal here more than expected. And, I especially enjoyed making my honey happy. The food merited at least 3 1/2 stars. Shocking, but true. But the service and atmosphere bring their star rating down. I'm not being a snob. I didn't come in expecting more than I should have. But, when during the course of your dining experience, you don't see a single smile in the entire restaurant, it makes you think.

    Are you seriously kidding me?!

So, check it...I waited 35 minutes on an "off" night just to sit. I finally sit and to my surprise, the restaurant has about 15 EMPTY tables while about 30 people wait in the lobby to be seated after being told the wait is approximately 25 minutes.

What in God's green Earth will Red Lobster have people wait, knowing there are tables willing and able to be taken?!

I'm seated and waited another 20 minutes just to get water, bread and utensils. The WORSE service I have ever encountered in my life. The waitress, wow...go back to waitress school. PLEASE.

Once the check came, I literally wanted to leave without paying. BUT, I am not some ghetto ass person so I paid. I SHOULD HAVE spoken to a manager, but I wanted to leave ASAP.

Thanks Red Lobster, I will NEVER SET FOOT in your establishment again.

What can I say...... Why is it that the chain restaurants Upstate and in Long Island have much better food?  The place looks clean but the service is pretty slow. The bartemder is missing half the tme if you happen to be eating or drinking by the bar.  They have no happy hour prices too. Had the broiled seafood feast and it was sopped in oil and butter. You just know it was recently microwaved, Have had better shrimp at the Outback and that is sad. Never again.

All the seafood just like from late week, didn't taste fresh. If the seafood is not fresh, why should I come back again?

Am I really reviewing Red Lobster? I guess so.
Red Lobster is what it is. It's a place for seafood on a budget. Obviously, you're not going to have the best meal of your life in a big chain restaurant, so you shouldn't go in expecting that. It's good, not great.

But if you can't enjoy Cheddar Bay Biscuits, then I don't think you have a soul.

it was just an ok experience...I have never been to red lobster before and heard lots of people rave about it.
We did the lobster fest thing. I had the lobster trio, which was the grilled lobster tail, shrimp skewer, and this shrimp and imitation lobster in this cream sauce...it came with two sides, and my choice was broccoli and french fries...and your entree also comes with a salad and the biscuits

everything just tasted all right..nothing amazing and not bad..just all right..
the biscuits was definitely good...service was decent...

don't think I will come back again unless for a special occasion

This Red Lobster inside the mall is becoming one of my favorite resturants.  The service and food has been consistently good for a casual chain resturant.  Only complaints I have is the family area where the huge tables are smells sour and the ladies bathroom should be maintained more frequently.

I am already looking forward to going back!  Cheddar Bay Biscuits are so good!

The food is fine. We usually order some dish that includes lobster and for the most part are happy with it.  A couple of times I ordered something that I did not like very much but it was still not too bad.
It is good for casual dining and I am sure we will be back.

OMG~!  Earlier this evening (Sunday) I was abducted by aliens and forced to eat Red Lobster~!!!

Ok...I'm lying.  My parents kidnapped me and they wanted to eat at Red Lobster.  I guess if I'm going to be tortured, might as well be with family so they can hear my last will and testament.  Ah, but I digress...We came here for my father's birthday...

All day i was telling my friends and fellow yelpers about my pathetic dinner plans and all they could say was, "Screw it dude.  Just order something light and eat a ton of cheese biscuits~!  That's all you need~!!"
    yelp.com/biz_photos/FpFa…
Indeed.  These are probably the best biscuits I've eaten in my life.  According to P, they're the reason why Red Lobster will never shut down.  P is probably right about this one...

For an appetizer, we ordered the Lobster-Crab-and-Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms smothered in Monterey Jack cheese for $8.75:
    yelp.com/biz_photos/FpFa…
This hot mess tasted good, but it was more like soup than anything.  I dunked my biscuits into said "soup" and it was quite TASTY despite shaving off 2 months of my life...

Then I grazed on my complimentary garden salad for my entree:
    yelp.com/biz_photos/FpFa…
Someone needs to give my salad a hug and/or a Hallmark card as it was just plain sad.  The picture speaks for itself...

For my entree, I was looking for an item which would disappoint me the least.  I knew i couldn't order chicken (banned), steak (cheap cuts), lobster (dinky), scallops (dinky), or shrimp (dinky).  My only choice was fish.  I decided to skip on grilled and broiled versions because they would probably turn out dry.  What I settled on was the Seafood-Stuffed Flounder baked with crab-and-seafood stuffing for $14.99:
    yelp.com/biz_photos/FpFa…
My plate looked incomplete with the void which was the southwest quadrant.  Despite its pathetic appearance, the fish and stuffing proved to be edible while the sidekick baked potato was amusing.  I found great joy knowing that i chose the best entree of the night while the rest of my family suffered...

In regards to the establishment, the place is pretty dirty and its probably from the massive turnaround they do.  They need to step up their cleaning game in the dining room and monitor the men's bathroom closer as there were no hand towels available.  I find no joy in playing the waiting-for-someone-to-open-the-door-as-I-rather-not-touch-the-cootie-infested-handle-with-my-bare-hands game...

In regards to the $15.99 Endless Shrimp deal my brothers purchased, what a shame it was.  On their first order, they could pick 2/5 kinds of pathetically small shrimp.  When the plate came out, it was a decent first serving.  Upon finishing said first plate, they were then able to order 1 subsequent serving of shrimp.  When it came out, it was a very small portion which wasn't even half the size of the first plate.  This cycle repeats itself til you're so annoyed by the process that you leave...

In regards to the waitress,  she was so nice.  I have a lot of respect for her as she worked extremely hard while maintaining her cheery nature.  I think my mom might try to adopt her as she gave my mom a a complimentary bag of cheese biscuits to-go...

Summary: Ok.  I survived Red Lobster.  It wasn't that bad, but i wouldn't recommend it to you and nor would i go back.  Unless I was really kidnapped by aliens...

Came here with my parents on a Tuesday night. It wasn't crowded but the service was still SO slow. My waiter seemed to be trying his best but for some reason, it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks and almost 40 minutes to get our food! Food at this Red Lobster was like at any other, mediocre at best and good for a laid back dinner.

The food was pretty good even though it took a long time because they were really busy. I had the ultimate feast which was pretty good even though it was kind of pricey. The drinks were pretty damn good and had almost no booze in them but what could i expect for $7 each.

This place has GOT to be a joke. Regardless, it's a disgrace of an eating establishment, let alone one of a decent chain.

So I had placed an order for take-out, was put on hold TWICE, and waited about 7 minutes to place my order. Red flag one. My boyfriend and I walk up to the restaurant and notice a "grade pending" sign. Red flag number two for me. Personally, I prefer "A" restaurants.

So we walk in and notice immediately, the smell of rotten seafood. You just KNOW when seafood isn't fresh. You tell by the smell. Duh. So I approach the host desk and there are two people there. One walks away and the other is standing there facing opposite the front door. After waiting an annoying 30 seconds for the host to... well... be a host, she finally asks what she can help me with. I politely tell her that I had placed an order and all I wanted to know if it was ready yet. She says flatly "to the bar."

Suprised by the unfriendly host that just "greeted" me, my boyfriend and I walk to the bar and notice there is no one there. After waiting another couple of minutes, I walk over to the bus station and ask one of two ladies chatting away that all I needed to know was if my food was ready to be picked up. The second lady goes "Isn't there anyone at the bar?" with a huge attitude. I reply with "no, that's why I'm asking you." The other lady kindly offers to check and lets me know it'll be a little longer. I say thank you and we go to stroll around.

15 minutes later, we go back, straight to the bar this time just to notice the guy behind the bar walk back to the kitchen. Once again, we're left unattended with no one to assist us. My boyfriend notices the second lady who was rude by the bus station was texting away AS WELL AS the guy that had walked to the back. Both texting away, leaving their stations.

We approach the manager and let him know about our complaint and he kinda seemed dumbfounded that his employees would do that.

Get a hold of your restaurant dude. Seriously. I'm 21 and managing an eating establishment better than you are.

My advice? Unless you want terrible service and a rancid smelling restaurant, do not eat here. I'd rather have McDonald's.

Their food is always good; manhattan and clam chowder soups, caesar and mixed salads, chicken alfredos, grilled tilapias, popcorn shrimps, desserts and to top it all off, their biscuits are all delicious.  You'll be guaranteed to walk away with a full stomach.
On the weekends, in the evening, you can expect to wait long for a table.
Their service sometimes can be good and other times just really bad!  I like how some waiters are attentive to my table such as coming by my table to see if I need anything and have a really great smile on their face that they even put a smile on my face.  And there are times when it's bad where it would take forever to locate our server and their attitude just stinks!
The environment of the place is cozy and it is fine dining with the floor being carpeted, lights dimmed, live lobsters by the waiting area, workable ACs/heaters and nice dark brown wooden tables to eat on.  It is good for any occasions; birthdays, anniversaries, hang outs, etc. are more than welcome!

It was Saturday night and it took 45 minutes just to be seated at a table. It did not take long for our orders to be taken yet it took long for the food to arrive at our table. The food was well cooked and our waitress was friendly. I would not mind coming here again as long as it is not on a weekend.

For some reason people like value. Why is there always at least a 30 minute wait for a table at this national chain? Location? Maybe. Advertising? Sure. But many people keep coming back. Why? The food is not tasty? Really? So why wait 30 minutes for sub-par dining? VALUE. That's what we got here, tasty seafood, prepared to national chain standards. No claims to be healthy, no claims to be a unique local dining experience. That's how I rate this restaurant, with educated expectations, minus one star for misstating the waiting time over the phone.

My husband love seafood, therefore he took me to this Red Lobster on our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was pack and we have to wait 35 minutes, thank god is located inside the Mall so we did some window shopping to kill time. That being said, Judy our waiter was very nice. I ordered the seafood platter which came with lobster, shrimps and broccoli and my husband ordered the fettuccine in lobster sauce.
The lobster was real fresh, the vegetable was under cook and the shrimps were real tasty. We were serve in a reasonable time frame. My husband love the warm biscuits so much that he asked for a second serving. Did not have dessert because it look way too heavy for my taste.

i was really confused here. first i happened to be in the mall i told my girlfriend hey lets get dinner and we first went to out back we saw a big C on the window so i said lets go to red lobster. we were greeted by the hosttes and she sat us down. We got the menus and our server Cecil came up and did his job and he is a great server. I have no conplains about him. what got me mad was what the other servers were doing. first a sever started kissing her boyfriend in front of me. i found this disrespectful and what got me really mad was that the manager was watching this in front of me and didnt say a thing.

ok so the food came and it was great i had the new englan clam chowder and the lobster with shrimp.

in the middle of eating i see the kitchen all wet and dirty and it seem like they were cleaning but cmon wait till customers leave before you do that.
again Cecil the server was great i have a good tip and yes i am a good tipper.
so i am walking out and i see to servers sitting down the female server was touching the male server penis. and the manager was no were to be found

First off I need to state I'm not a fan of seafood. The purpose of the trip was to treat my wife. From a non-seafood person there is not much on the menu to choose from but there are a few choices. The food taste was fine, and the non-seafood was at a decent price. The lobster itself is a bit pricier then other local eateries and my wife says she has also had better.

On the plus side the service was excellent, we were warmly greeted right away and our server was superb. The waiter was attentive friendly and helpful. By far the best experience of the meal.

My first Red Lobster experience and it was terrible. I may possibly never go back to any Red Lobster if the food and service is horrific as this place.

    1. Waitress was slow, inconsiderate of our needs and the only time she was quick was when she was getting the check from us after we signed the receipt. I don't think she cared if she got paid or not.
    2. Terrible fish and chips. I ordered fish and baked potato instead of fries. Fish was dry, potato was dried out. Tartar sauce- gross.
    3. 4 course meal option (appetizer, salad, main and dessert). You get a lot of food for the price. Caesar salad was drenched in dressing, chicken/shrimp with mashed potato was salty, but chicken was actually grilled (surprised) and dessert tasted like it was microwaved before making it to our table.
    4. Cheddar cheese biscuit- gummy and tasted slightly underdone.

Terrible terrible experience. Only reason I give them 2 star is because of number 3. The 4 course option is cheap for the amount of food you get. Options are pretty wide. Either way, food was terrible, service was even more terrible.

Came here with my boyfriend last Friday night around 7:30pm. Seeing as it's the only Red Lobster in Queens, we were told it was going to be about 1.5 hr wait. Crazy busy, so we just walked around the area until our table was ready.

We both took advantage of the $15 seafood feast (soup, salad, entree, dessert). As always, the biscuits are pretty good. The soup/salad are decent, nothing to write home about. For entree, I got the Shrimp and Scallop Pasta with Alfredo Sauce. It was a pretty big portion, but the ratio of shrimp to scallop was quite low (definitely more shrimp than scallops, and they were tiny scallops). The dessert was also decent. Our waitress was quite attentive amid the busy restaurant, so the service was pretty good.

Overall, I would come back if they had this special. The food is nothing special except for the generous portion size. I am not sure if I would want to wait over an hour next time!

Came here on a Saturday night around 8:30pm and was told the wait would be an hour and 15 min. We just walked around DSW and Daffy's to kill time so no biggie.

Majority of the party took advantage of the $15 seafood feast (soup, salad/cheez biscuits, entree, dessert) which was a real steal!!!

Cheesy biscuits are always really good and they're unlimited! and they always come out pipin hot...drool*

The soup and salad were as expected and the entree (i got scallops and shrimp pasta with alfredo sauce) was a bit too salty but came in a very generous portion! The dessert (i chose the key lime pie) was yummmy!!! The pie crust was just the right amount of crisp.

Would definitely go back for that awesome deal..maybe a little earlier though so i dont roll out at 11pm feeling like a fat ass. =oP::
